Prior to commencing the business Erin had been employed in the legal profession for over 6 years.,Until 2009 Erin was an associate of one of the leading Launceston law firms, where she had practiced as a solicitor for more than 3 years after graduating from the University of Tasmania in 2003 with an Arts/Law (Honours) degree.,In 2009 Erin decided to specialise in conveyancing only, and to set up her own conveyancing practice. eL Conveyancing has grown organically from that time. Erin commenced as a sole operator but has now trained a team of approximately 16 staff in the field of conveyancing. Erin has extensive experience in acting for both purchasers and vendors of real estate in Tasmania, and is proud to say her team together offer over a hundred years’ experience in the combined conveyancing/banking and real estate industries.,Erin is also a member of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers and has served as the President of the Tasmanian Division of that organisation.,Lisa Robinson joined the firm in early 2014 after 29 years of working for two of Launceston’s law firms, primarily in the conveyancing departments. She has been fortunate to have received invaluable training from a number of well known practitioners in the field.,Lisa works part-time and her role in the firm is primarily to assist with Contracts for Sale and Auction Conditions; to check and report on searches obtained from local Council, Lands Titles Office and other relevant organisations relating to purchase transactions.,Karen joined eL Conveyancing in December 2015 as our full time Settlements Clerk. Karen has a total of 30yrs work experience working within Local Government Offices and the Commonwealth Bank. For 7 years of her banking career she held the position of Settlements/Conveyancing Officer of property settlements including sales, purchases and refinances in Northern Tasmania. Prior to joining eL Conveyancing she worked with a local solicitors firm gaining experience in both residential and commercial conveyancing.,Maureen commenced with eL Conveyancing in 2009 soon after it commenced operation. She has more than 15 years experience in the conveyancing industry, having worked at a Launceston law firm in an administrative capacity for a significant period prior to starting with eL Conveyancing. Maureen’s role also encompasses that of Office Manager.,Maria joined EL Conveyancing in 2015 having worked in the real estate industry for the previous 3 years after having her family. Along with her knowledge of real estate she brings over 10 years’ experience from a banking and legal background, having worked with a major bank and a Launceston law firm primarily involved in property settlements and mortgages. Maria is responsible for the day to day management of our Sale files.,Eliza joined EL Conveyancing in April 2016. This is her first job in the Conveyancing industry but you wouldn’t know it as she advanced quickly within the EL team and is very proficient in her role. Eliza primarily assists with the day to day management of purchase transactions. Outside of work you will find her spending time with her friends and travelling.,Taylar joined the EL Conveyancing team in February 2017. Taylar primarily assists with purchase files and as personal assistant to Erin & Eliza. Outside of work she plays netball for Generation Netball Club and enjoys travelling and spending time with friends and family.,Tania is excited to be a part of the EL Conveyancing team as their Accounts Manager. She had previously been working in the real estate industry Launceston as part of an administration team for 7 1/2 years including 5 of those years as the Office Manager. Previous to this she was employed with Westpac for 10 1/2 years working in all areas of the bank, from transaction enquires through to lending and online banking queries. From both of these roles, she has gained extensive experience with book keeping and account keeping.,Meegan joined eL Conveyancing in November 2016 following 5 years in the real estate industry where she held positions in both administration and residential property management roles. With a genuine interest in property and a passion for customer service Meegan joins us in an administration role and assists with both Sale and Purchase transactions.,Kellie joins us at our reception desk and assists our team in an administration role. Kellie intends to study Law and Commerce next year by distance and will continue to assist our team while at university. Previously Kellie was a life guard at the local aquatic centre and has travelled and worked in America. Kellie is excited to be given the opportunity to start her career at eL Conveyancing. Outside of the office you will find her out and about with friends and family.,Josie joined EL Conveyancing in February 2018 after spending 2 years at a local Law firm, during which time Josie completed her Certificate III in Business. Josie primarily assists with Purchase and Sale files in an administrative capacity. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her loved ones.,Ashlee joined EL Conveyancing in March 2018 following 4 years in the legal industry where she held positions in both conveyancing and estate administration roles. Prior to this she was involved in Contract Processing and accounts functions within other administrative positions and enjoys all aspects of the Conveyancing process. Ashlee is involved in the property settlements as well as assisting with purchase and sale files.,EL is Jess’ first full time job beginning late 2017 after graduating College. Jess’ role is to assist the purchase and settlement teams and she is passionate about providing a high level of assistance to her work colleagues. In the next few years Jess wants to apply for the police force and she believes EL is a great environment to gain knowledge and life skills for her chosen career in the future. Outside of work Jess enjoys playing basketball, travelling and spending time with the people close to her.,Paige joined EL Conveyancing in May 2018 after working as a legal secretary at a local law firm and has also worked in administration roles over the past 5 years. Paige’s main role is to assist with purchase files and she is looking forward to learning more about the conveyancing industry. Outside of work she enjoys relaxing with friends and family.,Suzi has worked in a number of Launceston law firms in a wide variety of capacities, for longer than a number of our younger staff members have been alive. She primarily assists Erin and the Sales team to prepare for and book settlements.
